The Odoo Functional Lead ensures the management of the analysis, configuration, deployment and evolution of Odoo solutions within customer projects and digital transformation programs. He guarantees alignment between business needs and ERP capabilities, while ensuring the quality of deliverables, the adoption of solutions by users and the overall success of projects.

This post is — and it’s not. This position is not only an ERP configuration role or writing functional specifications. The Odoo Functional Lead acts as a true business partner and functional conductor. He must understand the strategic challenges of organizations, transform operational needs into concrete solutions and coordinate the different project stakeholders in order to guarantee the creation of value through the ERP. The person sought is a leader capable of combining functional expertise, business vision and excellence in execution.


What you will build

  • Collect, analyze and formalize business needs, lead framing workshops and write functional specifications.
  • Supervise the configuration of Odoo modules (CRM, Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Inventory, HR) according to operational requirements.
  • Define business processes and their translation into the platform, and participate in migration and production strategies.
  • Manage the planning, monitoring and governance of ERP projects, by coordinating business, functional and technical teams.
  • Supervise functional tests and user recipes, and provide level 2 and 3 functional support.

Son aptitude à traduire les enjeux opérationnels en solutions performantes constitue un facteur clé de succès.

The ideal profile has a Bac+5 degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, and has significant experience as a Functional Lead, with a minimum of 4 years on Odoo implementation and configuration projects covering several business areas. He/she masters the Odoo ecosystem and its standard modules (Finance, CRM, Purchasing, Sales, Supply Chain, HR), ERP architectures, and Agile/Scrum methodologies, with excellent analysis, writing and workshop facilitation skills. Leadership, autonomy, rigor and results orientation complete this profile; Odoo, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications are an asset.
