The Infrastructure Technician ensures the design, deployment, configuration and commissioning of network infrastructures within ministry buildings and structures under supervision. It actively contributes to the modernization of information systems by guaranteeing the availability, performance and security of local networks (LAN) necessary for the proper functioning of digital services.

This post is — and it’s not. This position is not just an installation and maintenance role for network equipment. The Infrastructure Technician is a key player in digital transformation, capable of ensuring the technical consistency of deployments, anticipating operational constraints and guaranteeing the application of best practices in infrastructure and security. The person sought is a rigorous, results-oriented professional, capable of operating in complex technical environments while supporting the client's teams in their development of skills.


What you will build

  • Supervise technical studies and define network topologies adapted to operational and technical needs.
  • Design cabling plans, architectural diagrams, IP addressing plans, VLANs and segmentation mechanisms.
  • Supervise the installation and configuration of active and passive equipment (switches, routers, access points).
  • Guarantee compliance with technical standards and participate in the commissioning and validation of infrastructures.
  • Ensure the application of network security policies and supervise authentication and access control mechanisms.
  • Ensure infrastructure supervision and carry out performance, availability and redundancy tests.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, and support client teams in operation and skills transfer.

Profile wanted

Non-negotiable culture: The Infrastructure Technician plays an essential role in the success of digital infrastructure modernization projects. He must demonstrate rigor, autonomy and excellent organizational skills. Its ability to work in demanding technical environments while ensuring a high level of quality constitutes a determining factor of success.

The ideal profile has a Bac+4/5 degree in Computer Networks, Telecommunications, Electronics or a related field, and has at least 5 years of experience in the deployment and administration of large-scale LAN networks, with proven experience in multi-site connectivity. He/she masters LAN, VLAN and network protocol architectures, switching, routing and wireless connectivity technologies, as well as structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA, CAT6, CAT7) and network security mechanisms. Rigor, autonomy, organizational skills and ability to work in multicultural environments complete this profile; CCNA certification or equivalent is appreciated.
