The Junior Financial Analyst supports Cybastion's Finance & Administration function across its multi-country operations, with a primary focus on the United Kingdom. This role provides hands-on support across management control, procurement, vendor management, and financial reporting, contributing to accurate financial records and day-to-day financial operations across multiple business units and jurisdictions.

What this role is, and isn't. This is not a purely administrative data-entry role. The Junior Financial Analyst supports financial reporting and compliance across multiple countries and currencies, where accuracy and confidentiality directly affect the reliability of Cybastion's financial records. The right person is detail-oriented enough to catch errors early and curious enough to learn quickly in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.

What you will build

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across business units.
  • Perform financial research and analysis to support management decision-making, including project profitability and cost control.
  • Help maintain and update financial dashboards and management control tools.
  • Support multi-country financial reporting for Cybastion offices (Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Morocco, USA, and others), including currency conversion tracking (XOF/USD/EUR) and FX impact reporting.
  • Contribute to internal financial audits and compliance reviews, and help prepare and file financial documentation in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Operations and other departments to gather financial data, and support ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as directed by the line manager or CFO.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and briefing documents for senior leadership.

Who we are looking for

Non-negotiable cultural fit: The Junior Financial Analyst is Cybastion UK's first line of financial discipline, keeping day-to-day operations, procurement, and reporting accurate across a multi-country, multi-currency environment. This person combines attention to detail with the curiosity to learn quickly, works reliably without heavy oversight, and treats confidentiality as non-negotiable. Profiles who need close supervision to stay organized will not succeed here.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, and brings 0–2 years of relevant experience (open to strong graduates), with working knowledge of core financial reporting and basic budgeting/variance analysis. They're comfortable working across multiple currencies and jurisdictions, with solid grounding in core accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools. Discretion, cross-functional coordination skills, and fluency in English (French an asset) round out the profile.
