A Europe Zone Manager – Training Activities. Manage the commercial and strategic development of the Education subsidiary in the Europe zone, identify and structure financing opportunities for training or development projects (particularly in Africa), establish strategic partnerships, and ensure financial analysis to guarantee the profitability of the projects carried out by the subsidiary. The Europe Zone Manager contributes directly to the international expansion of the Cybastion group. In close collaboration with the Director of the Education subsidiary, the internal teams (finance, HR, teaching, legal) and European and African partners, this role is the commercial and financial engine of the subsidiary in Europe: it transforms market and financing opportunities into concrete partnerships and profitable projects.

What this post is, and is not. This is not a position of administrative management or simple coordination of partnerships: it is a commercial and strategic development role in its own right, which requires generating business, putting together complex financing files and ensuring the profitability of projects. This position is not suitable for someone looking for a managed execution role, it requires you to define the strategy yourself and bring it to fruition.

What you will build

  • Commercial development in Europe: commercial strategy, prospecting, portfolio of institutional, private and public clients, commercial offers and conclusion of agreements.
  • Strategic partnerships: relationships with institutions, NGOs, donors, universities, companies and public organizations, representation at events and conferences.
  • Financing files: monitoring European and international calls for projects (EU, development agencies, foundations, multilateral donors), complete assembly (drafting, budget, planning, compliance).
  • Managing project profitability: business plans, monitoring of performance indicators, costs and margins, identification of risks and corrective measures.
  • Strategic reporting: regular monitoring to the subsidiary Director on commercial progress, partnerships, financing and risks.

Who we are looking for

Non-negotiable cultural fit: A person endowed with leadership, autonomy and a strong sense of initiative, capable of single-handedly driving the development of a territory and transforming opportunities into concrete results. Results orientation is essential — this position is measured by partnerships concluded and funding obtained. Credibility is built by the ability to represent the subsidiary to institutional contacts and donors, and by analytical rigor in setting up and monitoring projects, in a multicultural and international environment.

5 to 10 years of proven experience in arranging financing from European donors for projects. Proven track record in business development and management of strategic partnerships. Mastery of project setup (intervention logic, budget, indicators, reporting) and ease of negotiation are non-negotiable. Both professional French and English are required. Knowledge of European donors (EU, AFD, GIZ, World Bank, etc.) is an important plus. A Bac+5 degree in commerce, international relations, development or project management is required.
